Hotel Review: The Prince Park Tokyo Tower

[ad_1]

Looking for one of the best five -star hotels in Tokyo with an incredible view that is difficult to overcome? Don’t look beyond Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel!

It cannot be denied that, in just fourteen nights in Japan, we stay in too many hotels. Osaka and Kyoto were not a problem, but, once we arrived in Tokyo, we ended up in five other hotels in total! By the time we reach the exceptional Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel we definitely needed a few days and relaxing nights enjoying the room itself and resting our bodies tired after three complete in the days in Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea.

We ended up at the Disney sea around 5 pm before grabbing a super premium directly from the door of the Miracosta hotel on the rainbow bridge to the door of Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel. As soon as we walk towards the illuminated lobby with the warm brightness of a Christmas tree, I knew that this hotel was something special. When we reached the 31st floor and remove the curtains to reveal one of the most iconic views of all Tokyo hotels, I was in love. Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel is one of the best hotels I have housed and yes, although I can imagine that it would have been even better if we were not shattered with a small child in tow, it was extremely friendly for the family. Not even our little one could get bored of sight!

I stayed two nights at Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel in exchange for a social media review and coverage. As always, all opinions are mine.

The room

We stayed in room 3116, a premium king room with a floor by roof and wall to wall, offering unmatched views through the Tokyo horizon, Shiba Park and Zojo-Ji, a Buddhist Buddhist temple dating from 1622. Before reaching the room, it cannot help to be hypnotized by the vision, the tower of the tokyo that appears inside the distance.

The Premium King room has more than 400 square feet that, in a city like Tokyo, is huge. There was a space more than enough so that the three did not get under the skin of the other (although we were sharing a bed, for 5 and less) and establish our two suitcases.

As soon as you enter a small corridor area before moving to the room itself, a mini bar / coffee station in front of you, a desk if you feel like doing a little remote work, two comfortable chairs overlooking the horizon and an open bath. There are not many places where you can shower with an impressive view in Tokyo!

This room was perfect for a family, especially with the option of sharing the bed for those with younger children, although all we had to avoid was enjoying some time on the balcony; Those doors remained firmly closed!

LOCATION

Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel is located in Shiba Park in the city of Minato; About 3 km south of the Tokyo station already 4.6 km east of Shibuya. There is not much buzz at the hotel to be fair, but it is well located for the Tokyo tower, obviously, and you can walk at the Roppongi station in about 30 minutes.

The hotel offers a transport service to the Hamamatsucho station on the JR line and both the Sibakoen station and the Akabanebashi station are a few steps. We were able to return from Shinjuku in the quieter line of Toei Oedo. There is always a way to return to the hotel with a use of the most local subway lines. It’s not great, Uber is great!

Our experience

I said before that we stayed at the hotel after three long days in Tokyo Disney Resort yet, while in an ideal world we would not have abandoned the hotel room until it comes out, we still needed to explore more than Tokyo. I found that the city was bigger than I could understand and we only had a full day to explore the west of the center of Tokyo, so we had no choice but to stand up and see more.

We managed to wander from the hotel beyond Azabudai Hills (and the tallest building in Japan), through Roppongi to the National Art Center before taking the subway to Nakameguro for a coffee stop. We explore some Shinjuku before returning to the hotel and grab pizza in PST Higashi Azabu – Unreal!

Every morning we start our day with a buffet breakfast on the upper floor with newly made pancakes, eggs and, at least for me, a random selection of meat and cheese, in addition to some form of cold pumpkin salad that could eat every day.

The look was also at 12 pm, so we spent our last full day in Japan having a very lazy morning full of coffee, 7/11 ice cream and Netflix transmission.

PRICE

As I am sure you can imagine, a hotel of this rule will not be cheap, especially in Tokyo. When booking directly And by becoming a member, you can expect to pay around ¥ 99,000 per night through the King Premium room (with breakfast). That is around £ 500 and $ 627. That is expensive, yes, but it is definitely worth allowing. However, do not worry, Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel offers rooms for most budgets; The cheapest room I have tried to book is around ¥ 48,000 / £ 245 / $ 304.

Final thoughts

All our stay at Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel was simply exceptional, a five -star hotel that really meets expectations. It was exactly what we needed to end our trip to Japan. From the view, it is about the view, isn’t it, for the quality of the rooms, the kindness of all the staff and the charming breakfast, there was nothing we could complain about? I imagine that it would be even better for couples who like a night drink in the bar, but my type of travel is completely different now with a little one and I am fine with that.
