A simple nostalgic negative recipe for Fujifilm X-T5

[ad_1]

I am back with a new fujifilm jpeg recipe. This is something very simple, but here is a quick look at my first nostalgic negative recipe for Fujifilm X-T5.

I have been using the Fujifilm X-T5 now for a few months, so I started to face what is offered. There are definitely some great differences that have taken a little longer to get used to what I thought and I am still enduring before gathering a complete review.

I have been a JPEG shooter since 2018 and I was very interested in trying two particular films simulations; Neg Classic and Negs Neg. Classic Neg has existed for a few years, so I definitely arrive late to the party, but by Negálgico, this is very new. There are currently only three X series cameras that have access to this film simulation and the X-T5 is one of them.

Briefly, Nostalgic Neg is inspired by the 1970s and the appearance of ‘American New Color’. I hoped to be impressed by an appropriate vintage appearance directly outside the camera, but like Fujixweekly ritchieAt first I was a bit disappointed. In spite of that, I thought about marking some configurations and trying it correctly with a trip to the Christmas market in Lincoln.

Now I have to say that this is a very simple recipe. You need the change of red White Based +1 that I have been using since 2018 and the only time I become a little adventurous is to use the color chrome color effect established in weak. Over time, I want to be a bit more brave with the use of more recipes that require shifts in the Balance of White, especially since it can now be stored directly within its personalized configuration.

Anyway, I like this recipe. I like that there are subtle amber tones to the images that give a small wink to the vintage scenes that inspire this film simulation.

My negative nostalgic recipe

Film Simulation – Nostalgic Neg
Grain – off
Chrome Effect – weak color
Chrome color fx color – off
White Balance – Auto +1 Red
The highlight -0.5
Shadow – +2
Color – +3
Sharpness – +2
Noise reduction- -4
Clarity – Off
ISO – Auto, minimum shutter speed 1/200, up to 12,800

I have a pre -established JPEG import configuration in Lightroom that adds +10 contrast, +15 clarity, a small s and a vignette -5. This is something that I have used for years just to add something a little more to my photos.

Check out the photos and let me know what you think of this simple nostalgic negative recipe! I have some different ideas for the recipes in the future, but I hope it will not spend much time before sharing my complete JPEG recipe for the Fujifilm X-T5.
