Filling the average floor between pockets and a backpack, Honda Bellroy Venture 6L is a daily transport that only works for so many people. As a travel photographer, he changes game and I am here to share my thoughts in my Sling Bellroy Venture 6L review.
After years of carrying my Brevite camera backpack with me on each trip, either in a day with the family or a photographic walk through a new city, and 9 times of every 10 a backpack is exaggerated for those scenarios. As a photographer, I turned to simply carry my Fujifilm X-T5 with a lens with a neck strap and end it.
It was not until I was introduced to Bellroy, possibly my new favorite brand of Melbourne, who realized that I was doing everything wrong and there were other available options that would solve problems that I knew I had and even some that I did not do. Enter the Honda de Bellroy Venture; A midpoint between carrying my things in my pockets with my camera loose around my neck and my backpack probably full of additional lenses that I really didn’t need. Of course, for longer trips I would still take a backpack, but a deep was something that I saw with me on my trip.
For those who have not yet discovered the wonderful Bellroy, let me give you a brief presentation. Bellroy is an Australian brand that offers transport solutions to almost everything you will need ‘work to play, close and far’. From wallets and passport covers to canvas bags, backpacks and bag bags. Everything and anything you need to carry with you, wherever you go, Bellroy offers something for you in an aesthetically beautiful and sustainable package (Bellroy is a certified company of B Corp). Not only that, its design and organizational characteristics are ahead. Bellroy only makes daily life, packaging and trips a joy; To the extent that they can!
The risk slips offered by Bellroy are undoubtedly one of the most popular deep bags on the market at this time. These slesses are here to come with you in your adventures, wherever they take you even if they are closer to home or on the other side of the world. There are four options available in the venture series that range from small to quite large: 2.5L / 6L / 9L / 10L Camera Edition
Of all those different options, I bought the venture 6L Honda, which is perfect for me; Not too big, not too small. There are also other options available, including Bellroy’s new Lite design for those looking for something as light as a pen.

Design and aesthetics
The first is the first, Bellroy’s products alone look The part. I am a fan of large -looking products and Bellroy nails it every time. The Honda Bellroy Venture 6L is made of 100% recycled fabric that is water resistant. This immediately feels like a premium product.
The belt is comfortable and metal buckles are quite pleasant to use, without playing at all, only work. I still can’t comment on durability, but I can only imagine judging by my first impressions that this is a product that will travel with me in the coming years.
CHARACTERISTICS
If we approach the Honda, you will find two storage areas; The main area is a large open space accessible through reversible waterproof zippers with two side pockets, two smaller pockets on the back inside and a bag for their sunglasses. As you will see later, the two side pockets can place camera lenses (no doubt those of Fujifilm at least) and smaller pockets are useful for storing spare batteries or their passport.
The front pocket is, again, accessible through a waterproof zipper and is large enough to place your phone and the keys with a small strap.

My experience as a photographer
As I will have guessed by the photos, I went with the black edition of Midnight, mainly, since I like to keep minimalist, elegant things and I do not want to attract any unnecessary attention to whatever I have. If black really does, I’m not sure, but feels good for me.
My first experience with Bellroy Venture 6L Sling was on a press trip to Madeira with Jet2holidays and, while I used my backpack during the days to be able to wear my glasses, the deep came out in the afternoon that included a meal. I was able to place the Fujifilm X-T5 camera with the 35 mm f/1.4 lens connected and 16 mm f/1.4 in one of the side pockets, as well as my phone and wallet.
That is honestly crazy and a change of play in terms of my photograph in the future. I have been long after something that means that I do not have to wear a backpack and this deep allows me to store my camera when it is necessary more a lens (maybe even two if I used some of the fujifilm f/2 smaller lenses). I can’t wait to put this sling tested on more than my trips!

General thoughts
This is probably my favorite piece of team that I have added to my collection in recent years. It is extremely practical for ordinary days with the family and really enters itself when used as a camera bag. I can’t imagine going anywhere without him now; It is the perfect transport solution for almost all situations and allows me to make the transition between all aspects of my life without knowing it without knowing everything I need is where I need it to be.
