After having lived in Melbourne for three months, it is sure to say that I made my fair part of eating. It is difficult not to leave and try as much as possible of the best places to eat in Melbourne. Even if that means spending most of your savings won with so much effort. Melbourne is really a vibrant and multicultural city where all funds are welcome with open eyes. Over the years, this has led restaurants to offer cooks from almost everyone.
There is Italian on Lygon Street, Greek on Lonsdale Street, many Asian restaurants and everything else, from French to Lebanese and Africans. Regardless of the food you want, it will be guaranteed that you will not only find it in Melbourne, but will absolutely love it.
Without further ado, here are my choices from the best places to eat in Melbourne.
Nude for Satan
Fitzroy is the most modern of Melbourne’s hipster suburbs and naked for Satan is the best place to eat. You can opt for a menu to the letter above on the roof (with perfect views of the Melbourne horizon) or remain on the floor for pintxos. It is self -service here, so take a dish and choose as many small snacks as you can. Keep the toothpicks since they will be added when you pay. I was there in October when naked for Satan celebrated his birthday, so all pintxos had 50 ° C each. I also recommend collecting a copy of your kitchen book so you can always create your own nude memories for Satan wherever she is in the world.

Chin
This is one of the few places that I have found that it deserves exaggeration (at least it did when we visited Pre-Covid-19). If you are spending at any time in Melbourne, even if it is only for 24 hours, you should eat here. You will not regret it. Chin Chin is a modern Thai restaurant that requires a tail every night just to get a table. The only way of do Chin Chin is to ask for the option ‘Feed Me’ and will get eight of the chef’s favorite dishes. If I would go again, I couldn’t look beyond the Pad Thai and the Wagyu Meat Rendang. Do not worry, if there is something that you don’t like the appearance, just mentioning your waiter and will accommodate your needs.
I apologize for the lack of photos of Chin Chin, it was one of those nights in which I did not take my camera and enjoyed my night!
Meat and wine
This is the first place I ate after arriving in Melbourne feeling “fresh” from the United Kingdom. Steak is the name of the game here and really good steak. Even if you ask for the cheapest group of groups, it will continue to be one of the best you have. Maybe that has to do with the slight African turn. If you like it, order the blue cheese sauce too.
Easy
It is a difficult decision when you love hamburgers as much as I, but Faciley’s goes out to the top as my favorite in Melbourne. There are so many hamburgers in Melbourne, but where can you sit on an abandoned train on a roof? Combine that with perfect and customizable hamburgers, you have a winning restaurant. I can never avoid add jalapeños and a mac-n-n-to-what squeeze to any hamburger I ask. For more of the best Melbourne hamburgers, see my publication here.

Shanghai town
Given its proximity to Asia, it is not surprising that there is such a massive Asian influence on Australia’s kitchen. Thanks to gold fever, almost all cities and towns have at least one Chinese restaurant. If you are looking for a cheap lunch, you don’t look for more than the town of Shanghai for fried meatballs and wontons.

Welcome to Thornbury
Not so much a restaurant but a space for more modern food trucks to converge and serve their food. There are different events every day, so be sure to consult the website to see which food trucks will be there. If you are lucky, your trip can match a food festival such as the Chicken Nugget Festival (yes, it is real and incredible) or the Greek street food festival. This is worth one hundred percent that is worth the trip by short train to the suburbs.

Doughboys
These are the donuts you’ve been looking for. You will have to take into account early since this popular coffee is sold at lunchtime. I was tempted by all the flavors, but I finally decided on two; Lemon cheese and apple cake.

Lukumades
Continuing with the theme of the donut, Lukumades will make your taste gustatory anticipate. Plus a meal than simply a dessert, these little Greek donuts can be enjoyed smooth or with heart ingredients. Who can choose between vanilla ice cream with tibia nutella and cookie cookie mass with melted white chocolate?

Paddock
Finally, but in no minimum way, Top Paddock is one of my favorite places for Brunch in Melbourne, not only because it bears my name. Located in the Richmond suburb, you can order the famous Instagram and Ricotta Hotcake blueberry to share. It is huge and two of us could not even finish it, but it is worth the food coma.

Honorary mentions
Two other places to eat in Melbourne that deserve a mention are Prahan Market (Maker & Monger cheese toasties) and, when it is on, the nocturnal market for noodles in Birrarung Marr.
