The five best Melbourne bars – Jamiechanchravels

Before visiting a new city, I will spend hours investigating the best and most only places to go. The upper part of the list will always be to find out what bars I would like (okay, I need) drink. If you are like me, then you will love extravagant bars, hidden bars, scourge bars and bars with a beer garden. You get the image, almost any bar. Fortunately for you, I have already tried many of Melbourne’s bars and here I have reduced my favorites. This is the last list of the five best bars in Melbourne.

Berlin bar

Ich Bin Ein Berliner. Those four words will be recorded in your memory when you leave this bar and convince everyone to visit your new hometown. This is my favorite bar in Melbourne, since it is very different from anywhere where I have been before. Transportation to Germany begins at the entrance with a welcome sign written completely in German. I am not sure what he says, but pressing the bell will indicate to his chosen waiter to let him enter. From there, the experience really begins.

We all know that Berlin was once a separated city with the west capitalist and the east communist. This bar is also divided in half and you can choose whether it will sit in the west dazzling or in the east dreary. I chose Eastern Germany with their Russian writing on the walls and literas instead of seats. The waiters also know one or two things about cocktails and I am sure that it will not take long to choose their poison. The cocktails cost around $ 20 each, which is expensive, but would return in an instant. You will not regret drinking here.

Goldilocks

I prefer this bar on the roof on the nearby ‘roof bar’ (Genius Name Guys) since the views are not clogged by six feet wire fences and you feel that you are located among the skyscrapers of Melbourne. This is a bar that you wouldn’t know that I was there unless you knew I was there. Next to a Chinese bearing meal is a dreary elevator that will take you to a floor to this little jewel.

This is where I would always go at night, since the city’s lights look very good from here. All their standard drinks are served here and, if you feel spicy, the snacks influenced by Asia are fantastic.

Loop roof

At the east end of the CBD, in another lane, is the roof of the loop at the top of many stairs. It is set in an exotic garden with brilliantly framed views of the Melbourne horizon. One of the best places to drink all day while the sun starts to wear.

The Croft Institute

Try to find this hidden bar and will be demolished in the dark alleys full of graffiti. I had to verify the triple the instructions before venturing as far as I could to detect the entrance. This place has gone through the classic atmosphere of ‘Mental Hospital’ and, if I am honest, it is a spooky AF. Especially bathrooms. However, drinks are incredible. Where else can you drink syringe cocktails?

Rompecorazones

Yes, this is a diving bar, but it is a damn diving bar. On the edge of Chinatown, Heartbreaker is a perfect rock bar for many beers, melodies in the disc pizza slices of Connie’s.

An honor mention to Ponyfish Island

I’m not sure if I prefer the view of Melbourne’s South Bank or CBD, but it doesn’t matter if you visit Ponyfish Island. This bar is under a bridge in the middle of the Yarra River so that you can get the best of both worlds while supposedly a good cold beer.

It was difficult to reduce it to only five bars for this publication, there are so many good bars in Melbourne and I am sure you will end up finding your own favorites.
