10 best things to do in perth

[ad_1]

I have good memories of Perth; The most isolated capital in the world. After our motorhome decided that he had had enough in the middle of the interior, (eventually) we fly to perth to replace ourselves. The three weeks that I spent in Perth left me feeling comfortable and safe after a week’s nightmare. Now, even though I visited in winter, Perth was full of endless transparent blue skies and days of mid -20 degrees. We fill our three weeks full of the best things to do in Perth and, sincerely, we had such a good time!

What makes this city even more beautiful is how isolated it is. The closest capital city is Adelaide. Singapore is closer! Imagine living in London and its closest capital city is Moscow. This isolation means that there is a great sense of union here and results in a perfectly relaxing place to visit.

However, I must add that despite its isolation, there is much to do and this short guide will show you exactly which are the ten best things to do in Perth.

The ten best things to do in Perth, Australia

Catch an AFL game at the Optus stadium

AUSSIE rules football, also known as football. Why start? This is the sport of Australia.

Eighteen players on both sides compete in a large oval -shaped launch with the aim of essentially scoring the largest number of points. You can run and bounce the ball, damn the ball forward or kick it! I will not go into the rules because I really do not know much about the game. All I can say is that it is nice to see it and much better than rugby! Don’t be surprised if the scores end in hundreds! The only thing that caught me was the number of times the referee blows his whistle; Your cheeks must make a correct training.

Anyway, be sure to find time to catch one of the local teams; Fremantle Dockers or West Coast Eagles (the winners of the Grand Final of 2018!) In the new Optus Stadium. Sit and see if you can understand what is happening!

Walk along the banks of the Swan River (from Langley Park to Elizabeth Quay)

Nothing exceeds an early morning walk and walking along the Swan River is as quiet as they come. Walking through the palm tree on the river -river is perfect since the sun bounces in the water. If you are lucky, you could even detect a dolphin or also explore above. Upon arriving at Elizabeth Quay, you will see that this is an area full of development. Do not let that stop you, since the views are bright and with many bars, as well as the Bell tower, you could easily spend the rest of your morning here.

Explore King’s Park

Classified by several people as one of the best parks in the city in the world and would be a fool to disagree. Only a short walk from the CBD of Perth, King’s Park rises dramatically from the Swan River and covers about 400 hectares of shrub, as well as a botanical garden. There are more than 2,000 plants in this park that can only be found in Western Australia. This is undoubtedly one of the best things to do in Perth.

For a challenge, try your luck by uploading the Jacob ladder before entering the park. 242 Upload a practically vertical cliff edge. Perth’s locals must be angry since they ran repeatedly up and down in the heat of noon. When I got to the top, I thought that my leg muscles would be destroyed. If I needed more reasons to visit King’s Park, you will find the best view of the CBD of Perth of the guards here. Take a picnic and do one day!

Travel around the world in the court of London

Buying at the CBD is improving for the ability to apparently transport London or the Rambles in York walking through the Court of London. While buildings are new and connect with some super modern centers, this is a taste of England that may or may not miss. The stores in this lane are mainly for tourists, but some photos are still worth.

Catch the ferry to Rottnest Island

In my opinion, this is the upper, upper part of the list of things to do in Perth. Although it can be expensive for a day excursion, it will certainly not regret even if you have a budget! Ferry leaves Fremantle and you can add bicycle rental to your ticket that I would strongly recommend. This island is home with beautiful beaches, crystalline waters, seals, dolphins and the absolute king of the selfie; The quokka. If you decide to hire a bicycle, keep in mind that you will take most of the day traveling all over the island. Given the heat and lack of drinking water, it is a long hard work of around 28 kms.

Make fun of perth lanes

The lanes are nowhere on the scale of those found in Melbourne, but go to Grand Lane and you will find Toastface Grillah. Hugely popular among city workers who appear from their offices to savor some of the most incredible toasts I have tried. This is far from ham and cheese that you can find in a small coffee on an English street. My recommendations are Pear Grillz; Blue cheese, pear and chutney of Lima and Chile Cheese, which explains for itself.

Explore street art in Wolf Lane

After filling divine toast, go deeper in the Perth lanes and find Wolf Lane; Home of some of the best street art of Perth. Again, not on the Melbourne scale or even Townsville in Queensland, but it is worth looking for this. By the time visiting, the street art scene could have exploded, meaning even brighter works of art. I definitely think Smug I should hit some buildings!

Have a beach day

Cottesloe is the safest swimming beach in Perth, but there is a lot to choose from. All with bright white sand and crystalline seas, any beach would be an epic place to see how the sun slides under the Indian Ocean.

Fremantle visit

For a small amount of change, you can take the train directly from the CBD to the Port City of Fremantle. Wherever you see, there is an architecture of the colonial era built with convicts that makes it some very impressive buildings. His day in Fremantle must focus on prison, which is on the world heritage list, the market and the Little Creatures brewery. The brewery is huge and perfect for drinks at sunset and a pizza. By the way, pizzas here are as good as beer. The pumpkin cheese pizza, spinach and goats was washed with some scholets by Elsie Wa Ale is what dreams are made. This beer is only available in Western Australia too, so it is something special!

Pass one afternoon in a roof bar

I love a good bar on the roof and there is no better place to absorb the views of the CBD of Perth than of the Aurora Rooftop Bar on the top of the Melbourne hotel. Take a seat and ask for drinks while you are here in the long term. If you feel another bar on the roof, try the nest in the aviary.

These are, in my opinion, the ten best things to do in Perth and will easily fill their time for a week or so. There is also much more to do in this magnificent city and I am sure that you will love the relaxed and quiet environment in general!
