From above: Australian aerial photography

[ad_1]

Now that my time in Australia is over, I have been looking through the thousands of photos I have taken. I just had to invest in a drone while I was in Australia and I think it offers such a different perspective for landscape photographers. I am very happy to have had the opportunity to develop my skills with the photograph of drones for ten months through Australia and Southeast Asia. However, it was here, throughout Australia, that drone really came to himself. If you wanted to see an inspiring Australian aerial photography, to see Australia from above, you have come to the right place.

So, without further ado, here is my collection of photos of drones that cover 15,000 miles from Australia; From Melbourne to Perth and (almost) everywhere. We have sports stadiums in Melbourne and Perth, gold mines abandoned in Peak Hill, tropical waterfalls in Cairns, rock pools in Sydney, the life of bread in the Warrumbungle National Park and many other fascinating landscapes from above. Many of these photos have reached the upper part of my favorite photos so much that some have been printed and adorn the walls of my home.

There is something magical in this country that can only be really appreciated from the air. You could probably spend years and years capturing Australia from heaven and each image would be unique. The landscape is very diverse and I hope I could capture this. I hope you love my Australian aerial photography as much as I!

Well, what do you think? Australia is absolutely impressive from heaven, right?

I have gathered some tips on photography of drones generally here, but all these photos were taken with the Mavic Pro 2 drone In ten months in 2017 and 2018. I would love to return soon, perhaps with a newer drone, to capture more from Australia from above and improve my Australian aerial photography. I do not have many regrets, but certainly I’m sorry I had not used my drone much more frequently; Honestly, I think I could have done it and should have taken hundreds of photos.

I ended up selling my drone when I returned to the United Kingdom after these trips in 2018, although the charm of aerial photography (and maybe trying more videography) has always attracted me. With the growing quality of drones in the market, specifically those carried out by DJI, maybe I will soon return to the photograph of world drones.
