Since I changed to Filmar JPEG of Fujifilm, I have been experiencing with different film simulations. I have been trying to fill those six personalized configurations with a wide range of simulations that cover almost all situations. In the search almost never end of perfection, I have moved a little since my first publication of my Fujifilm Jpeg configuration But I have always been looking for a simulation that is both mood and earthly tones. The type of tones that would be perfect for the misty mornings in the black spur (Australians, those who have for you), humid climate road trips in the United Kingdom and fresh forests walks. Enter this Fujifilm forest film simulation.
Unfortunately, I can’t remember who published this simulation for my life, so I’m sorry. I saw him randomly when one of the many Fujifilm groups on Facebook, I marked it quickly and forgot it. A few weeks later we headed to Hamsterley Forest not far from home for a Sunday walk and this was the simulation of movie I chose. Therefore, now by simply naming forest.
It has a supernal atmosphere, so it could be that this is one of the recipes of the great Fujixweekly. So, if you know, let me know.
These are the configuration I used, which I simply added a ‘Fade’ curve in Lightroom. I have played with the idea of adding grain in the camera or in light. I like the idea of Lightroom if I was going to add grain so that it is not permanent. The photos of me Instagram They are with +75 grain (probably too much) and in the future, if I decided to add grain to the photos, I would stay with +30. Then I have removed the grain completely. Of course, you must adjust the recipe to meet your personal needs if you want something a bit different. That is part of fun.
Here are a few photos so far of this new Fujifilm forest film simulation that I am using at this time. I will add soon.
