One of the smallest countries in the world, Singapore manages to fit both in its 283.5 miles² Almost all of which is a photographer’s dream. We arrive at the streets of my visual guide for street photography in Singapore.
We will return in time with this publication, back to 2018, when I spent three glorious nights in Singapore before going through Southeast Asia to Thailand. I think that before arriving before arriving that I would fall in love with Singapore and I am very happy that the country was up to my high expectations.
We spent two nights in an Airbnb to get most of our exploration, so I could really concentrate on photography, before spending a night in Marina Bay Sands, which was as impressive as you can imagine.
Singapore is such a modern city that I have managed to visit but that slides effortlessly to traditional culture, ensuring that it will never get bored as a street photographer and travel. Whether you go to Little India, the Arab neighborhood or the sports port, I promise you that you cannot stop capturing all the small moments of your adventure. I am gathering a complete guide on the best photography locations in Singapore that will help identify exactly where have To take a shot.
However, for now, we are here only to show the best of my street photography in Singapore.
My series ‘On The Streets’ takes us through the world with short publications focused only on my unique travel and street photography style. The series will never be complete, but here is a look where I have covered so far:
Ok, let’s have a virtual vagabundo through the streets of Singapore. This is my opinion about street photography in Singapore.
Street photography in Singapore
The details
All these photos were taken with my original Fujifilm X-T2 and it was the first place where I traveled to where I only filmed Jpeg. Yo sometimes I wish I would have filmed Raw+JPEG to be able to return and edit the photos to put them at zero with my current style, however, it is a precise reflection of how I thought better to capture Singapore at that time. The lenses I used in 2018 were the Fujifilm 23 mm f/2, Fujifilm 10-24 mm f/4 and the Fujifilm 55-200 mm f/3.5-4.8 (all the lenses no longer I have). You can find my current photography team here.
