Due to a combination of malaise after Lockdown, Emma’s pregnancy and the first days of Evelyn’s life, it has been a long time since we have been on a long family walk together. All of that changed recently when we achieved a first Sunday walk with Evelyn with only eight weeks.
Using a physical map, we draw a route through the public trails and headed to what turned out to be a steep walk of 3 miles. This photographic newspaper captures these precious first moments in Evelyn’s life. This type of walks makes me realize how much I love to live where I do; Just south of Durham and you are directly in the beautiful field.
The photos were captured with the (new for me) old Fujifilm 23 mm f/1.4 and 56 mm f/1.2. The colors are provided by recipes for ektar 100 and pro 400h on Fujixweekly. The only black and white photo is the lovely recipe of ‘Acros Punch’.
