Trees in Tughall: Minimalist sky on the coast of Northumberland

[ad_1]

Along the coast of Northumbrian near Beadnell, you will find the most impressive cabins of all; Trees in Tughall. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this!

I am very excited to write about what I assure you is one of the best cabin experiences throughout the United Kingdom. I have had a trip far to Trees in Tughall In Northumberland at the top of my list since it opened in 2022.

A few weeks ago, in January, I treated my wife and two nights before Emma’s maternity license came to an end. Now it is not that he does not absolutely love our daughter Evelyn and Little Dog, but two nights of free children and dogs are a luxury so weird that they need to be exploited to the fullest.

With that in mind, the Sauce cabin in Trees in Tughall It was the place where we would take time to relax in the middle of the impressive field of Northumberland.

The concept

The trio of cabins in the trees of Tughall is located within the old forest, only a few fields of the coast of Northumbrian, an area of exceptional natural beauty and the beautiful city of Beadnell. The cabins are rightly called Ash, Hawthorn and Willow after the trees that make up the forest and are simply impressive. Inspired by the moment when the owners have passed in Scottish molds along with the Northumbrian fishing industry, he will discover that the cabins are ultramodern, wonderfully simple with clean lines that invoke a Scandi minimalist atmosphere. The exterior blackened wood contrasts significantly with the soft green environment, but somehow mixes with the landscape effortlessly.

The whole concept behind the trees in Tughall is to offer those who remain everything they need and nothing else. It becomes a place where you visit only for ‘being’. I know it may sound strange, but, although we explore a little, it was lovely to sit without distractions and just listen and observe.

The Sauce cabin

Let’s talk about our cabin, The Willow, which I curiously realized that this second is the design name of our own new construction house. It was a difficult choice in the trees of the Tughall website knowing which cabin choosing, but finally it was reduced from the great window of the image; The main feature of each cabin.

It turns out, in my opinion, that I chose well. The Willow image window is oriented to the south, which means that soft natural light fills the cabin all day. I can’t think of many more places where you prefer to be than sitting in that window seeing the world pass (or touching my guitar …). Put the registration burner and you will have the perfect afternoon imaginable.

In the cabin you will find a small kitchen area with oven, induction plate, refrigerator and all the utensils you will need. Tea and coffee are provided, so I tried to make a strong and lovely coffee in the coffee provided; The first time trying that after my new love for coffee. Now, I am used to my nespresso machine at home, so let’s say I need a practice, since the coffee I made was weak as … well, you know. The homemade blondes that the owners left us more than compensated.

Working through the cabin, from the main room (with the kitchen, the window of the image and the dining room) will walk towards the bedroom area that contains a King bed for the size of the right, in addition to more storage that you will need. In the end there is a bathroom with full -size sink, toilet and a shower without appointment; more pleasant than in many hotels in which I have stayed.

As I said before, the interior of each cabin is simple and clean with the walls lined with light ashes wood of local and sustainable origin. If I could redesign my house immediately, it would look like this.

Outside there are two seats and a fire well where you can sit and listen to the sound of the small transmission that flows gently. After nightfall, it is the perfect place for Stargaze, especially with Northumberland with some of the darkest skies in Europe. We were lucky with the weather and, once our eyes adjusted, there were billions of stars on us. Not as crazy as what we could see in Australian outback, but, nevertheless, you will not find a much better place for the stars in England.

Near the trees in Tughall

For those who feel like exploring a little more while they stay in the trees in Tughall, here some places to visit. We have already spent many weekends in Northumberland, so this time we were eager to explore Holy Island and Beadnell.

In Beadnell, I recommend the food of Craster Arms and Beadnell Towers and Coffee of landing. If you go to the north to Holy Island, what you should definitely do (here is my guide to visit Holy Island) you must check the tide times since the tide will cut the island and nobody wants to be stranded! Apart from that, you can’t miss Bamburgh Castle for obvious reasons or you can lose grab a fish and fries in the sea houses.

Final thoughts

Before concluding this, I need to say that staying in the Tughall trees exceeded my high expectations. It was perfect. Mother Nature treated us with burnt red sunrise and sunset; winters is not bad after all in the nature of Northumberland. I know that here in my blog I really only share positive experiences, but this stay was right there; Possibly one of my favorite places to stay not only in the northeast but throughout the United Kingdom. It is not a surprise that Telegraph will list it as one of the best places to stay in the United Kingdom.

Reserve some nights in the trees in Tughall, I promise you will not regret it. Everyone needs a place to disconnect from the world and this is now my place to do so.
