Classic classic cars classic

Before immersing ourselves directly in a photograph, I hope some of you agree with me when I say that I love cars, but, at the same time, I really do not love cars. Strange, I know. What I mean is that I love the appearance of the cars, I love photographing cars, but I definitely do not love them to such an extent that I understand the mechanics of everything (apologize to my father -in -law!) I appreciate a good car; I think that is the food of this.

I definitely appreciate almost all cars that could possibly be classified as ‘classic’. Armed with my reliable Fujifilm X-T2, I have taken many photos throughout the years of very good classic cars, so I think it’s time for them to share with you. Most of these photos were filmed at the Saturday Classic Car Cruise in Old Town, Florida or the North East Classic Car Show at Hardwick Hall In England.

For photographers in this publication, my favorite lens for car photography is undoubtedly the Fujifilm 56 mm f/1.2 that, after a little round trip, is definitely back in my category of ‘Love forever and never sell’. Bar some photos (16 mm f/1.4, 35 mm f/1.4 or x100f), all were taken with that 56 mm lens. Finally, there could only be one option in terms of films simulations for this series; Fujifilm’s Classic Chrome. All of these are taken using my recipe ‘Chrome Urban’ (or a gross version that I promise to share soon). Why raw? Recently I have been filming only in black and white, so those raw are useful for when I want to turn a color image instead of using the JPEG.

Anyway, it’s time to enjoy some photos of different cars from very similar angles …
