Fujifilm acros film simulation in the real world

[ad_1]

Since I began to film JPEG in my Fujifilm cameras in 2018, the popularity of film simulations and the Fujifilm JPEG have increased greatly. Large communities have been built to share and create recipes to emulate films or simply to take advantage of those beautiful colors of Fuji.

While I have changed between Astia and Classic Chrome as my favorite color simulation, there has only been a simulation for white and black and that is the simulation of Fujifilm acros film.

I have always had something for black and white photography. It has a timeless beauty and, for some reason, it pushes me to concentrate even more on the light on the composition. Fujifilm acro is legendary. One question that some have is, if you love it, why not just film and use the true one? Acro instead of the digital version of Fujifilm of it. Well, why would I? I don’t really film at all and Fujifilm gives us the best of both worlds here; The appearance of the movie all wrapped very well in a modern digital image.

There is no doubt about many YouTube articles and videos these days about the Fujifilm Acros simulation, but I want to show him how JPEG looks in real world stages. I use a recipe these days for my black and white photograph, punch acros, and use for travel photography, daily shots and even weddings.

I am currently working on a series of publications that document cities in beautiful in black and white. At the moment, I have covered Melbourne, Manchester and London, but there will certainly be much more to come.

Fujifilm acros film simulation examples are full of garbage in this blog; Check out, it is always being used!

Punch ‘Acros Recipe

  • Dr 200

  • FS yellow acros

  • Grain

  • WB Auto

  • Outstanding +3

  • Shadows +4

  • Sharpness +2

  • Noise reduction -4

I have configured a JPEG import that I apply in all my jpegs directly from the camera, which is simply +10 contrast, +15 clarity, a slight curve and vignette -5.

For those who use Lightroom and Shooting RAW, try this I have tried to coincide. It is not a perfect combination, it has been almost impossible for me to match what comes out of the Fujifilm cameras, specifically acros, in Lightroom, but this works for me:

Now you have the details, it is time to see the acros simulation of Fujifilm in the real world. All these photos are taken with the X-T2 or the X100F and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I!

Does this work at the Fujifilm X-T5? Damn, go here for all my latest JPEG recipes!
