I love the city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand; From the calm of the Buddhist temples to the chaos of the food markets. This is my visual guide for street photography in Chiang Mai!
As with my Bangkok post, I’m not sure why it has taken me so much time to create this publication since I visited Chiang Mai, in northern Thailand, in 2018! However, despite the time that has passed, I love these photos as much as I did at the time, although I would like to have taken more.
Chiang Mai is a fairly large city near the border of Thailand with Myanmar located at the foot of the highest mountain in Thailand, Doi Inthanon. The city is as relaxing as charming with a very relaxed atmosphere full of coffee shops and coffee shops, Buddhist temples and street food markets. It is a place I can see back in the future.
Street photography in Chiang Mai is always a good idea since the streets are a good mixture of sandy, as always in Southeast Asia and Pacific. There is always something to capture, be it the Walking street market on a Sunday or the locals that make their daily life.
My series ‘On The Streets’ takes us through the world with short publications focused only on my unique travel and street photography style. The series will never be complete, but here is a look where I have covered so far:
Ok, now is the time for a virtual tramp. This is my opinion about street photography in Chiang Mai.

The details
These photos were taken a while ago at the Fujifilm X-T2 mainly with the Fujifilm lens of 23 mm F/2, but also with the Fujifilm 10-24 mm F/4 and Fujifilm 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8. As I do now, I also triggered Jpegs when these photos were taken so that all these colors can be achieved inside its Fujifilm camera with my ‘Urban Chrome’ recipe.
