In the streets: Vilnius, Lithuania

The capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, is historical, peculiar and completely passable, which means that it is a perfect place to go to the streets with a camera in hand. This is my visual guide for street photography in Vilnius, Lithuania.

I visited Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, in July 2023 as part of my first press trip abroad. I, together with other bloggers and travel journalists, toured Lithuania through gigantic perennial leaf forests and Russian vacation camps in the cold war era and spent time in the castles next to the lake and in the famous cities of Spa. Visiting Lithuania has made me fall in love with the Baltic states and now I can’t wait to visit Estonia and Latvia!

Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to spend too much time in Vilnius thanks to a canceled flight and numerous delays, so the photographs below were captured in approximately an hour at 7:30 am However, I walked too fast and covered several miles running out before the first day of our bicycle trip. Now that is the commitment, right? In addition, you get an ultra rare photo included!

Well, let’s go through the capital of Lithuania. This is my opinion about street photography in Vilnius.

The details

All these photos were taken with the Fujifilm X-T5 with my classic Neg recipe. As always, my number one lens for travel photography (well, all the photograph to be honest), the Fujifilm 35 mm f/1.4, was responsible for most of the photos, but I also enjoyed placing the Fujifilm of 23 mm f/1.4 through its steps.
