Lane7 brings Bowels and beers to Durham

[ad_1]

Lane7 brings his unique bowling brand to Durham and spent a night reviewing what is offered; You will definitely want to visit after reading this!

During the last year or so, so many new places have been opened in Durham, which makes it the ideal place for a break in the weekend. From punch punk to Turtle Bay, Durham has begun to attract larger and fresher brands and none more than the latest incorporation; Lane. Originally opening in Newcastle, Lane7 has expanded its peculiar bowling brand throughout the country and fortunately brought it to Durham. Lane7 in Durham would not look out of place in Bristol or Shoreditch; Polished concrete floors and, at least, at least, graffiti painted with spray on each wall.

Lane7 Durham

Lane7 Durham kindly invited me to see the place before its official opening on August 16 and it is safe to say that there was a very fun night! That is probably due to the fact that we had a baby free from a couple of hours …

Opening at the old Fat Buddha restaurant in Durham’s Walkergate area, Lane7 has something for everyone and you don’t have to travel to Newcastle for a cool night. You will find 6 lanes for bowling, two Duckpin bowling lanes (something a bit different from the usual ones!), Billiard tables, a crying network, beer tables, intelligent dart boards and arcade machines. Not only that, the outdoor area offers excellent views in the new development of Milburngate and I am sure that this has to be one of the best places at sunset in the city.

It had been a long time since the last time I went to the bowling; For my 30th birthday in Lane7 in Newcastle, so I wasn’t sure how I would go! I was destroyed not to have a strike, but I left with my mourning hips and a victory in my belt. I’m sorry Emma! We had aligned darts later; Different from the usual 501 game through which dartboards are linked to tablets with four interactive games. We settle for one where the points that write down brick and the first to get rid of them all win. Unfortunately, due to some initial problems, we did not achieve a complete game, so we took an extra drink under the sun.

Lane7 offers a good selection of beers and cocktails (I had the super sweet battery cocktail), but disappointingly they don’t seem to make food here. I do not know if there is a plan to present it in the future, but LANE7 has always been known for its excellent food and some places even serve hamburgers of almost famous. If not, it only means that you will have to extend your stay in the city grabbing food in one of the many charming restaurants.

Opening schedules:

Monday to Thursday at 4 pm in afternoon

Friday – Sunday 11 in afternoon

After 7 pm every day, the place is only more than 18.

LANE7 Durham offers food?

This is a question that I had before visiting LANE7 as, after having been in Newcastle’s place before, I was excited to experience more of the same high quality pizzas and hamburgers. One lane7 even has its own fat hippopotam!

Unfortunately, however, Lane7 Durham, at this time, does not offer any food, although there are many restaurants in Durham that can visit before or after spending a night.

Can you wear your own shoes in Lane7 Durham?

Damn, you can, as long as they don’t have open fingers or heels. So, yes, you can use your trucks (the additional grip will help you get that high score). Of course, if you are an adequate professional and you desperately need some bowling, Lane7 Durham has some available to use.

Prices

Prices are not so bad; For a bowling game, you are looking at £ 8.95 per person, £ 15 for interactive darts if you reserve online and £ 20 for 30 minutes in Cricket networks (but that fits up to 4 people). If you are visiting between Sunday and Wednesday, you can get 2 bowling games for only £ 13 per person. Here is the complete price list.
