In a world where 1,000 recipes from Fujifilm JPEG are offered to choose from, I like to keep things simple when they direct me to the warmest climate. This is my fujifilm jpeg recipe for summer; For my family vacation, those sunsets after 10 pm and life on a day -to -day basis when things get hot!
For those who are regular followers of my blog, they will know that I have been filming exclusively with the recipes of Fujifilm Jpeg from around 2018 to the end of 10 months traveling in Australia and Southeast Asia. There are 1,000 Fujifilm JPG recipes available on the Internet these days and I made the error in the first days of experiencing with so many different types of recipes that I took some time to develop ‘My style’. I used Classic Chrome during most of my photograph until I updated the Fujifilm X-T5 and Classic Negatied entered my life.
Fujifilm JPEG’s recipe for the summer that I am going to share today in this independent publication is one that I fear that I will have seen before, in my Fujifilm X-T5 JPEG Fujifilm X-T5 configuration blog. However, I have had many questions and I have seen so many articles about the best JPEG configuration to resort when we go to the warmest climate, so I thought about sharing the configuration that I used almost exclusively during the summer (or any escape to the most warm climate really). I can also share a lot of photos that have only been briefly shared on social networks.
My Fujifilm Jpeg recipe for summer
As I mentioned earlier, there are so many Jpeg Fujifilm recipes these days that it can be difficult to settle in which it works for you. I do not like having too many options on the march and I prefer a consistent aspect or ‘environment’ in a complete collection. I remember in 2019 when I visited Crete Flitting between different JPEG recipes and simply did not look good (apart from those that I captured in Kodachrome II) as a whole.
Now I am very different and I have decided on this classical negative recipe for those summer shots (to be fair, many colder weather shots too). I have some envy of the people who travel widely and have many attempts to create recipes, adjust and try them in the course of several trips. My life is much more established now, I have a family to take care of and a mortgage to pay and, in some way, this correlates directly with my JPEG recipes. I need something that only works, every time and, with a little girl, I don’t have too much time to play with the configuration.
For those of you who are like me, this fujifilm jpeg recipe can also work for you. Nothing complicated, nothing elegant. He simply does what he needs to do; He captures those summer family vacations perfectly and all the small fleeting moments that come with them. With the family, I have used it in Portugal, Chipre and Montenegro. Even when I travel without the family, as recent press trips to Madeira and Sicily, this recipe still fits very well for summer scenes.
There is an inconvenience in this recipe and, due to the adjustments to the white balance, it can be a bit too warm in certain environments; Particularly when they are filmed in restaurants with artificial lighting. I think the answer lies in adjusting the AWB to AWB – White priority (with the same change of white balance), but that is something I have not tried yet.
In addition, although I am creative in terms of writing and photography, I am not the best to find extravagant names, so if you want to present a name for this recipe, let me know in the comments below or more. Instagram!
The recipe

I describe my full photography workflow in Lightroom here, but, when I import any of my JPEG files in Lightroom, I have an import configuration that adds +10 contrast, +15 clarity, a slight vignette s -curve and -5 to each photo. The only other adjustments they could do are with respect to the exhibition, normally illuminating everything, although I try to make sure not to explain too much in the camera.

I would love to know your thoughts about this recipe and if you will use it during the summer of this year or move away where the weather is warmer!
I have not really been so good to provide general updates recently, maybe I need to do it in the newsletter, but, in terms of what follows, I am anxious to physically move again now that my Achilles is beginning to recover and, hopefully, start working on a new recipe by Fujifilm JPEG using the new Real Ace movie simulation. We have not really had any trip this year as a family, but we have something reserved for November that I cannot expect!
