He has been quiet here, he doesn’t have it! After having spent four months since my last blog post, it would be forgiven for thinking that I had completely renounced my hobby of travel/photography blogs. However, there has been a very good reason for my radio silence and the track is in the title.
At 11:20 pm of February 11, 2022, I became a father. Emma and I became parents of our beautiful daughter, Evelyn.
I managed to take four weeks without work, which was absolutely perfect to help settle in life with a baby! We managed a few trips, we ate a good meal and saw all Wes Anderson’s movies. Obviously, my cameras came everywhere with us.
I don’t think anything really prepares you to become a father, but, despite the fact that I am exhausted and the care of a little newborn is a challenge (euphemism!), I can’t imagine much better.
Now what I am sure of is that, once I find a little more time, I will follow this blog of mine. Without a doubt, having Evelyn will change the way we travel and the way I think about my photograph, but I am excited to document life anyway.
