A cold night in Newton Hall’s luxury garden rooms

[ad_1]

On a cold autumn day, I went to Northumberland for a cold night in the Newton Hall garden rooms. This is a review of my stay with my wife and eight months.

Within the Northumberland coast area of exceptional natural beauty, you will find Newton Hall; A luxurious wedding place in which most can only dream of getting married. In 2019, my wife and I visited Newton Hall after making a silly decision to plan our wedding in just a few months. We loved the place, we loved the small town, but above all we loved this area of Northumberland.

Finally, we got married a few minutes in Doxford Barns, but I always wanted to return to stay in the area to explore the coast and, probably, most importantly, to relax. Northumberland is so quiet and peaceful that it is the perfect stay here in England.

Recently they invited me to stay in the garden rooms of Newton Hall, which are new by 2022. I remember visiting the place and noticing a static caravan park right next to me that always remained in mind. However, Newton Hall has created something so special and unique by investing £ 2.5 million in the development of Cabin Walk. I had seen many people stay recently, so I was very excited to be my turn for a cold stay!

A stay in Newton Hall garden rooms

On a cold autumn day in the middle of the week, we headed an hour or so on the way to Northumberland with our eight -month -old baby, in tow, so we expected at least, it would be a very cold night in one of the 27 garden rooms next to the side of Newton hall.

First, I just want to go to the crew ‘i do glamp’, if there is still any. This is not glamping. The cabins are described as garden rooms and are essentially luxury hotel rooms finished for a relatively high standard. Many of the rooms come with hydromassage bathtubs and a chiminea for outdoor relaxation at their best, in addition, everyone has a kitchen area with all the basic concepts necessary for one night.

We stayed in the best garden room (number 19) centered around the huge glass wall, half of which it opened essentially forces the private terrace where the hydromassage bathtub waited. The rest of the room had a sofa, closet, kitchen area (with a fridge where we saved the peach), a huge bed, television and a private bathroom. The entrance hall to our room was shared, so there was another much smaller room in the front of the cabin, but you would have no idea that someone else was close to feeling so private.

There were some small dentition problems; The floor seemed to sink into some places, one of the bathrooms continued to flash like a 90’s disco and fresh milk would not have gone.

Evelyn did not take the time to settle. Soon I was making his unique attempts to crawl and stay alert! We did not go to Jacuzzi as fast as we could have done before having a child. Instead, it was time to spend together as a family, while Emma is still maternity leave. I would love to say that all the stay in Newton hall I was super cold but I would be lying; We have an eight -month baby after all!

Shortly after 7 pm and shortly after Evelyn fell asleep in the travel cradle provided, we set up the monitor, we set up the Sonos Roam And he went directly to Jacuzzi! Relaxation finally.

With free Wi-Fi, we could see a movie in Netflix on my laptop; The perfect way to finish our night.

Where to eat in Newton Hall garden rooms

As I mentioned earlier, there is a small kitchen with a fridge, which means that it could bring its own food (there is no plane, but there is a microwave), but why would it need when, just one walk, it is the Carpenter arms. The Joiner’s Arms is a great gastro pub of Gastro owned by the same group as Newton Hall. It is a traditional and poorly illuminated pub that offers excellent drinks and high quality foods. He is friendly to dogs, so next time we could bring Chester.

Our courtesy stay in the Newton Hall garden rooms included a two -plates lunch and breakfast the next day (available for all guests). For lunch we had Tempura King Longerns & Squid to start, meat fries (yes, this was mine, not the hamburger for once!) And the carpenter’s steak hamburger for the electric grid and we share the sticky caramel pudding for the dessert. The steak was beautiful and reminded me how much I love pepper sauce!

Breakfast was as good as it had a complete option for a continental style buffet breakfast (yogurt, fruit, cakes, muffins, etc.), in addition to ordering from the kitchen menu. You can not be wrong with the full English classic, but there were also berries and scrambled eggs in toast.

Where to visit nearby

If you go to Newton Hall’s garden rooms, you don’t want to go too far, so I would recommend going to the nearby beaches for a lovely walk. You have the choice of beautifully resistant Link House Beach or the beach in Low Newton-by-the-Sea with a view to the ruins of the Danstanburgh Castle.

After visiting, we conducted thirty minutes to the southwest to Rastroqueo Where we find one of the most moody, wet and mist morning that I have seen in a long time. We could not explore the living room as we had the Echelyn’s stroller, but we quickly saw the best views, we had coffee and cake and drive the six -mile picturesque route around the farm.

I have intended to write more about my trips to Northumberland, but I recommend visiting Alnwick, Bamburgh, Alnmouth and Warkworth too.
