Feed wild dolphins in Tin Can Bay, Australia

[ad_1]

This should be something in each visitor to Australia’s wishes; Feeding wild dolphins in Tin Can Bay in Queensland.

One of my most memorable experiences, Road Tripping Australia was here in Queensland; Handing wild dolphins in Tin Can Bay! There are not many places in the world that you can do this and, without a doubt, this must be added to your Australian desire list.

Tin Can Bay is a small city on the east coast of Australia located just below the southern end of the Island Fraser, 96 km north of Noosa on the coast of the Sun and 220 km north of Brisbane. While Fraser Island and maybe Rainbow Beach steals the center of attention, it is not every day feeding wild dolphins, although in Tin Can Bay, you can really do it. Yes, I mean every day.

A pod with 9 humpback dolphins in Australia is directed to the varnacle Dolphin Center in the sports port in Tin Can Bay every day for approximately 8 am are wild animals, of course, so they will not always be the best timing man! The Australian humpback dolphins live in the river and the estuaries instead of the sea and are said to be quite shy. It is incredible then that you can actually feed the wild dolphins in Tin Can Bay!

Add to your desire list: feed the wild dolphins in Tin Can Bay

As I said before, you will have to start early to feed these dolphins. Go to the Dolphin de Barnacles center in the sports port for around 7 am to get a good parking space and make sure you are in the group that gets into the water!

There is a rate of only $ 10 per person that includes a fish that feeds you to one of the dolphins. It is not an experience that lasts a lot, but it is certainly one that you will remember forever. It was great to listen to the volunteers who introduce each of the dolphins; All are clearly passionate about executing the Dolphin de los Dolphin Center of the Barnacles and ensuring that we can all experience the wild dolphins of the hand!

Obviously, there are some rules: not touching the dolphins, since this is prohibited by law and can receive a fine of up to $ 8,000, do not use Flash photography and simply follow all the instructions of the volunteers since it cannot go wrong at that time.

If you have time beforehand or later, maybe before continuing your trip, be sure to go through Café Barnacles to eat something and coffee or tea. Coffee is open from 7 am to 3 pm every day.

Should you visit Tin Can Bay?

Well, yes, if you want to do something so unique and extremely weird while visiting this region of Australia. It is not a great detour from the main road, especially if it takes into account a trip to Rainbow Beach. My wife and I still talk about our visit to Tin Can Bay to feed the wild dolphins and I would love to take our daughter when she is also older; It is sure to be a unique experience in life!

Where to visit near Tin Can Bay?

I guess most visitors to Tin Can Bay and this region of Australia will be on a road trip from Sydney to Cairns (or vice versa). I mentioned previously that there are some excellent places to visit not far from the can bay, including the beautiful Island Fraser and Rainbow beach, followed by Maryborough (the birthplace of the creator of Mary Poppins), Bundaberg and Noosa.
